CAIRO, October 27 (RIA Novosti) - The quartet of mediators in the Middle East peace process will meet in November in Egypt's Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh, president Hosni Mubarak's official spokesman said on Monday.
The Middle East Quartet consists of Russia, the EU, the U.S., and the UN.
The exact date of the meeting and its participants are currently unknown.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov earlier said the meeting would be held at a ministerial level with the participation of Israel and Palestinian officials.
