MOSCOW, July 18 (RIA Novosti) - Russia will extradite to Estonia a man wanted by Interpol over a series of robberies and thefts committed in the Baltic republic, the Interpol National Central Bureau Russia said on Friday.
"Sergei Avramenko, born 1979, will be extradited from Russia to Estonia today. He was earlier detained for rape in the Pskov region," the report said, adding that at the time of his detention Avramenko was a stateless person.
In 2006, Avramenko was convicted and sentenced to 41/2 years imprisonment.
Russia has extradited 10 suspects to other countries since the start of this year.
