RIO DE JANEIRO, July 12 (RIA Novosti) - At least 22 people have died following a head-on collision between a bus carrying school teachers and an empty fuel tanker in western Brazil, national media reported.
The accident occurred on Friday morning in the state of Rondonia, when the teachers were travelling to a seminar. Both vehicles burst into flames.
Both drivers along with 14 passengers of the bus, which was carrying 30, were burned alive, a police spokesman said. The rest escaped, but several later died in hospital.
