MOSCOW, June 20 (RIA Novosti) - An Uzbek national has been found dead near a forest in northeast Moscow, a police source said on Friday.

The body of the 49-year-old man was discovered near the Pyatnitskoye highway. He is believed to have died of neck and head injuries.

The Moscow Human Rights Bureau said in May that 66 people were killed and 132 injured in race-hate attacks in the first five months of the year across Russia.

Russian media reported late last year that teenage ultra-nationalist gangs may have been responsible for up to 50 race-hate murders in Moscow in 2007.
