MOSCOW, June 14 (RIA Novosti) - The bodies of three men were discovered after a fire destroyed a house in central Russia's Kostroma Region, a police source told RIA Novosti on Saturday.
According to the source, the single-storey house was completely destroyed in the fire on Friday. Firefighters discovered the bodies of the three men in the debris.
Forensic experts said the men died as a result of numerous knife wounds.
Police are currently looking for two local residents, who were seen with the three men shortly before the fire started.
According to preliminary inquiries, the men are believed to have been killed during a drunken quarrel. The fire was an attempt to conceal the crimes.
A murder investigation has been launched.
