MOSCOW, March 28 (RIA Novosti) - A car, belonging to a Moscow businessman, exploded early Friday in a residential area in southwest Moscow, no injuries were reported, local police said.
The bomb, containing explosives equivalent to around 200 grams of TNT, had been placed under the car of a 30-year-old businessman, police said, adding that an investigation had been launched.
The blast occurred at 7:30 a.m. Moscow time (4:30 a.m. GMT) some 15 meters (50 feet) from an apartment block. The shock wave shattered glass in a nearby vehicle. "No one was injured," a police spokesman said.
