MOSCOW, March 2 (RIA Novosti) - Four police officers and a civilian were injured in an attack on a police car in Khasavyurt in Daghestan, the southern Russian republic's emergencies official said on Sunday.
"An explosive device was set off as the police car was moving down Batyrmurzayeva street. Five people were injured, including four police officers and a civilian," the official said.
Khasavyurt is a town bordering on Chechnya. Violence in the troubled republic has spilled into Daghestan, which has also been plagued by criminal battles.
