ST. PETERSBURG, January 13 (RIA Novosti) - Seven people died and four others were injured in a fire at a factory in northwestern Russia, the regional emergencies center said on Sunday.
The blaze at the Elektropult electrical factory in St. Petersburg started early on Sunday after a wooden structure close to the factory's premises caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire within an hour, the emergencies center said.
Work in under way to establish the cause of the fire.
