GAZA, November 28 (RIA Novosti) - An Israeli air strike left two Hamas police officers dead and several wounded in southern Gaza, Palestinian radio reported on Wednesday.
The Israeli army press service confirmed the strike describing it as response to a spate of rocket and mortar attacks on southern Israel.
Israel has accused Hamas of launching rocket attacks against Israel ever since the Islamist group took control of the Gaza Strip from the pro-presidential Fatah movement in June.
