MOSCOW, November 21 (RIA Novosti) - The net profit of SIBUR Holding, Russia's leading petrochemicals company, fell by 3.2% to 13.5 billion rubles ($550 million) in January-September 2007, year-on-year, a company report said.

SIBUR Holding integrates a number of hydrocarbons refining enterprises and is controlled by the Gazprom Group, the Russian state energy monopoly and the world's largest gas producer.

The company revenue grew by 5.4% to 91.25 billion rubles ($3.7 billion) by Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) with oil and gas refining products' sales up by 3.3% to 69.1 billion rubles ($2.8 billion). The third quarter revenue was down by 5.5% to 29.27 billion rubles ($1.2 billion), year-on-year, reportedly due to refining and wholesales reductions.
