Oil output in Russia grows 2.5% to 9.85 mln bbl/d in 9M07

MOSCOW, November 19 (RIA Novosti) - Oil output in Russia increased 2.5% year-on-year in January-September 2007 to 367 million metric tons (9.85 mln barrels per day), the country's top statistics body said on Monday.

The State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said crude sales on the domestic market grew 4.8% in the reporting period to 170.1 million metric tons (4.57 mln bbl/d) and exports were up 2.8% to 192.4 million metric tons (5.17 mln bbl/d).

In September, oil output (not including gas condensate) totaled 9.467 million bbl/d in Russia and 30.719 mln bbl/d in OPEC producing countries, including 2.163 mln bbl/d in Iraq and 8.604 mln bbl/d in Saudi Arabia, Rosstat said.
