MOSCOW, November 12 (RIA Novosti) - Lokomotiv Moscow fired on Monday their trainer Anatoly Byshovets, after a disappointing season in which the 2002 and 2004 Russian Premier League champions could only finish seventh.

Byshovets, 61, who took the Soviet Union to footballing gold at the 1988 Olympics, was named Lokomotiv's manager at the end of the 2006 season.

He is replaced by Rinat Bilyalyetdinov, previously the reserve team coach. Bilyalyetdinov, who will act as caretaker manager, is the father of club captain, Diniyar Bilyalyetdinov, a rumored target for English club, Chelsea.
