New Yorker finds 2-meter python lurking in her WC

MOSCOW, October 18 (RIA Novosti) - Nadege Brunacci, a 38 year-old New York resident, found a two-meter (7 foot) python in her toilet, the Daily News newspaper said.

While washing her hands at night, the woman turned round to see a python starring back at her from the toilet she had recently used.

"I turned on the light and screamed," the newspaper quotes the woman as saying. "It still makes my heart race."

She put a weight on the toilet lid and started to call for help, but no one believed her. At last her landlord and firemen came to her assistance. Unfortunately the serpent has already slithered back down the pipes, and plumbers had to cut the pipes in a flat downstairs to extract the creature.

It is still unclear how the serpent got into the plumbing system of the multi-story building, but some tenants said they had seen the python in the basement approximately a week earlier.

Brunacci gave the snake to her friend, who took care of it and named it Nadege, but she still shudders every time she has to use the bathroom at night and uses her daughter's potty instead.
