MOSCOW, September 20 (RIA Novosti) - Russian law enforcers have detained three militants and discovered an arms-cache over the last 24 hours in Russia's war-ravaged Chechen Republic, local police said Thursday.
All three detained militants belonged to various illegal armed formations and are currently being interrogated by investigators.
Police also discovered an arms-cache in a deserted country house near Grozny, the capital of Chechnya. The arms-cache contained a Kalashnikov assault rifle, three mortar shells, an artillery shell and eight cartridges for a grenade launcher.
