MOSCOW, August 23 (RIA Novosti) - Novatek [RTS: NVTK] said Thursday its net income, calculated to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), increased 18.7%, year-on-year, in January-June 2007, to 8.56 billion rubles (about $333 million).
Russia's largest independent gas producer said its IFRS net income in April-June grew 20.5%, to 4.22 billion rubles (about $164 million).
Sales grew 24%, to 30.29 billion rubles (about $1.18 billion) in January-June 2007, and 18% to 15.04 billion rubles (about $585 million) in April-June, Novatek said.
