WASHINGTON D.C., August 19 (RIA Novosti) - The U.S. space agency has decided to bring shuttle Endeavour back to Earth a day earlier due to worries about powerful Hurricane Dean, a NASA official said Sunday.

Endeavour will undock from the International Space Station (ISS) at 8 a.m. EDT Sunday and is expected to make a landing Tuesday, the NASA official said.

Hurricane Dean, the first major storm in the season, is sweeping through the Caribbean Sea at a speed of 145 miles per hour (230 km per hour) and is expected to approach the Gulf of Mexico early next week.
