KIEV, August 9 (RIA Novosti) - Five German nationals died in a collision between a car and a truck in eastern Ukraine, a Ukrainian emergencies ministry spokesman said Thursday.
The accident occurred late Wednesday on a major highway, when a truck driver swerved into oncoming traffic crashing head on into a car. All five people in the car died instantly.
A total of 30 people have been killed and 226 injured in 190 car accidents in Ukraine over the past 24 hours.
