MOSCOW, July 17 (RIA Novosti) - A total of five people have been killed and 15 injured after a tourist bus turned over in the Republic of Bashkortostan, in Russia's Urals, a spokesman for the local emergencies ministry said.
A bus with 28 passengers skidded off the road and drove into a ditch while on route to a local campsite Tuesday morning. Four passengers died instantly, 24 were taken to hospital, where one person later died in intensive care.
Preliminary reports say the driver could have fallen asleep at the wheel.
