ST. PETERSBURG, June 27 (RIA Novosti) - Rescuers at a coal mine in Russia's north Urals found the bodies of two missing miners following Monday's methane explosion, the emergencies ministry said Wednesday.

The latest find brings the death toll from the disaster to 10 men, with three injured.

Russian industrial safety regulator Rostekhnadzor said Wednesday there were no indications of safety violations at the Komsomolskaya mine, located north of the Arctic Circle, which is considered one of the most potentially lucrative mines in the Pechora coal basin.

VorkutaUgol, the mine's operator, owned by Russian tycoon Alexei Mordashov's steel giant Severstal, said it had immediately checked safety systems in all mines in the region and found no weak points.

Rostekhnadzor spokesman Nikolai Kutyin called for calm and said a full investigation of the mine was in progress.
