BRUSSELS, June 25 (RIA Novosti) - Two swans have died from the deadly strain of bird flu in Bavaria, Germany, the press service of the European Commission said Monday.
The press service said German authorities had informed the European Commission that tests in Bavaria had revealed the H5N1 virus in the birds' bodies.
German experts have taken urgent measures to control the situation in the area where the swans were found.
