MOSCOW, May 25 (RIA Novosti) - Firefighters have arrived outside Moscow's Ostankino TV tower, the country's tallest structure, following a fire outbreak at a height of 342 meters, an emergencies ministry source said Friday.
"There is heavy smoke in a room 342 meters above ground level," he said.
So far 15 firefighting teams have arrived at the scene and began ascending tower, where according to the source, heat insulation intended for repair works is in flames.
No injuries have been reported so far.
