MOSCOW, May 6 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's national ice hockey team secured a 6-3 win over Switzerland in the qualifying round of the 2007 Ice Hockey World Championship in Moscow Sunday.
The Russians, who now top Group E with 12 points, will face Monday defending champion Sweden, another unbeaten team in the group, after the Swedes play against Finland later Sunday.
