MOSCOW, February 15 (RIA Novosti) - A Moscow court will begin repeat hearings Thursday on the murder of Forbes Russia Editor Paul Klebnikov two and a half years ago.

Klebnikov was killed in Moscow on July 9, 2004. He had worked for Forbes since 1989 and gained a reputation for investigating murky post-Soviet business dealings and corruption. He became the first editor of Forbes Russia when it was launched in April 2004.

The Moscow City Court will take up the case on a November 2006 Supreme Court ruling which overturned the acquittal in May of the two main suspects, Musa Vakhayev and Kazbek Dukuzov.

A third suspect, Fail Sadretdinov, was also cleared of murder charges, but sentenced in January to nine years on charges of property fraud in a separate case. He is currently in a prison hospital and, according to his defense lawyer, will not be able to attend the hearings.

The court is expected to select a 12-member jury, with two standbys.
