WASHINGTON, February 8 (RIA Novosti) - Two members of the 14th crew of the International Space Station have started their third spacewalk in nine days, NASA said Thursday.

ISS commander Mike Lopez-Alegria and flight engineer Sunita Williams intend to remove and jettison two large shrouds, install attachments for cargo carriers, and prepare for the next shuttle mission to the station scheduled for March 15, the NASA press service told RIA Novosti.

The spacewalk is expected to last about four hours. The previous spacewalk on February 4 took around seven hours.

"By the end of the spacewalk Lopez-Alegria will be in second place for the most spacewalk time by an American astronaut," NASA said.
