BEIJING, January 16 (RIA Novosti) - Bilateral trade between Russia and China grew 14.7%, year-on-year, in 2006, to $33.386 billion, the Russian Embassy in Beijing said Wednesday.
According to Chinese customs statistics cited by the embassy, Russia exported $17.554 billion worth of goods to China last year, up 10.5% on the previous year.
Imports from China grew 19.8%, year-on-year, to $15.832 billion.
Analysts say there were no major structural changes in Russian-Chinese trade in 2006, with energy and raw materials still forming the bulk of Russia's exports to China.
