Gazprombank doubles asset value to $34 bln in 2006

MOSCOW, January 15 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprombank more than doubled its asset value in 2006, reaching 903.978 billion rubles ($34 billion) as of January 1, 2007, the subsidiary of Russian energy giant Gazprom [RTS: GAZP], said Monday.

The bank, Russia's third largest in terms of assets, said its asset value gained 22% during the fourth quarter.
