MOSCOW, December 31 (RIA Novosti) - There has been no information confirming casualties among Russian citizens in Thailand following a series of explosions that hit Bangkok on Sunday, the Russian Embassy said.
According to preliminary police reports, six bomb blasts rocked the Thai capital on New Year's Eve, killing at least two people and wounding 20.
"We have not received any reports on casualties among Russians so far, but we are trying to clarify the situation as quickly as possible," an embassy official told RIA Novosti by telephone.
