SHARM EL SHEIKH, December 2 (RIA Novosti) - Peace plans for Lebanon, Iraq and Palestine are unviable without consensus and coordinated efforts of the international community, the Russian foreign minister said Saturday.
"One-sided projects, which have failed to receive the support of the entire international community, have no future here," Sergei Lavrov said after a meeting with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
He expressed concern over the ongoing developments in Lebanon, the Palestinian territories, and Iraq.
He said it is critical to promote civil accord in these areas and to do everything possible to prevent civil war.
