BELGOROD, November 1 (RIA Novosti) - A traveler from the Siberian city of Novosibirsk has ridden his bicycle 10,100 kilometers (6277 miles) from the Far East port of Vladivostok to Belgorod, on the Ukrainian border.

Vladimir Lysenko told RIA Novosti that his ride took him 71 days.

"Tomorrow, after a day of rest, I will go further - to Ukraine. I am planning to reach Kiev. Next year, also on a bicycle, I intend to cross all of Europe and reach Gibraltar," the traveler said.

He also said he made his first round-the-world trip, on all continents except Antarctica, in a car in 1998-2001, and that he is now getting ready for another round-the-world tour.
