GROZNY, October 19 (RIA Novosti) - The widow of former Chechen president Akhmad Kadyrov, assassinated in a terrorist bomb attack on May 9, 2004, will receive a monthly allowance of about $900 for life, following a decision by the government of the North Caucasus republic.
"The government's decision was made with consideration for the merits of the assassinated president and the necessity to provide social protection to his family," Chechen Minister of Labor and Social Development Magomed Vakhayev said.
The allowance is equal to 23 minimal pensions, worth 1,035 rubles.
