MOSCOW/KYOTO, August 27 (RIA Novosti) - Patriarch of Moscow and all-Russia Alexy II urged world religious leaders Sunday to fight terrorist attempts to exploit believers' feelings.
Alexy II spoke at the 8th Assembly of the World Conference of Religion for Peace, which is being held in Kyoto in western Japan.
"In the situation when terrorists and extremists are trying to exploit believers' feelings and there are strong attempts to make believers confront each other, we need to act together to counter discord and division," Alexy II said.
