MOSCOW, August 19 (RIA Novosti) - Russia hopes that Palestinian organizations and groups would abandon violence and resolve existing problems with Israel through negotiations, Russian Foreign Ministry's spokesman said Wednesday.
"We hope that Palestinian organizations and groups will make the necessary choice to abandon violence and resolve the existing problems with Israel at the negotiations table," Mikhail Kamynin said, commenting on the statement of the President of the Palestinian National Administration Mahmoud Abbas that Palestinian militant groups had reached a ceasefire agreement with Israel to prevent further escalation of military actions against Palestinians.
