MOSCOW, August 16 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Federal budget revenue is projected to hit 6,965.3 billion rubles (about $257.9 billion) in 2007, with spending reaching 5,463.5 billion rubles (about $202.4 billion), a government source said Wednesday.

The source said federal budget revenue would total 22.3% of GDP in 2007 and expenditure 17.5%, with a budget surplus of 1,500 billion rubles (about $55.5 billion), equaling 4.8% of GDP.

A draft federal budget for 2007 will be discussed by the government Thursday.

The draft 2007 budget projects GDP growth at 6%, a consumer price increase of 6.5-8%, and puts the price of Russia's Urals crude at $61 per barrel.
