MOSCOW, July 20 (RIA Novosti) - A self-made explosive device went off by a major highway in northern Moscow Thursday evening, a police source said.
"Police officers at the scene found wires from an explosive device and explosive substances," the source said.
No casualties have been reported.
Earlier reports said a residential gas pipe had exploded on Leningradskoye Shosse. But traces of small metal balls, probably used to fill an explosive device, were discovered on a car parked nearby.
