MOSCOW, July 19 (RIA Novosti) - The first plane with Russian citizens evacuated from Lebanon due to an escalating Israeli-Lebanese conflict has arrived from Syria to Moscow's airport Domodedovo, an airport official said Wednesday.

Earlier the Russian Emergencies Ministry said 162 people, including 77 children and pregnant women, from Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States were on board the plane.

More than 200 people have been killed in Lebanon in seven days of Israeli missile and air strikes, while more than 20 Israelis have been killed in attacks mounted by militant group Hizbollah.

A diplomat from the Russian Embassy in Syria said earlier Wednesday that the second plane with about 140-150 Russian and CIS citizens evacuated from Lebanon was set to depart from Syria.
