WASHINGTON, July 17 (RIA Novosti) - U.S. President George W. Bush held bilateral talks with seven world leaders on the sidelines of the Group of Eight summit near St. Petersburg this weekend.
During the three days of Russia's debut summit at the Constantine Palace, Bush met with the leaders of Russia, Brazil, Britain, France, China, Brazil and India.
After an informal dinner on Friday with Vladimir Putin, the U.S. president held talks Saturday with the Russian leader on issues including the recent spate of violence in the Middle East, Iran and North Korea's nuclear programs, and Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization.
