MOSCOW, July 13 (RIA Novosti) - Ukraine's political turmoil will further deteriorate if the president signs a decree dissolving parliament, the legislature's first deputy speaker said Thursday.

The country is in a crisis with fighting in the Supreme Rada and protestors on the streets following the collapse of a Western-leaning parliamentary coalition and the emergence of a new one led by a pro-Russian party.

President Viktor Yushchenko warned political parties Thursday against making decisions that could force him to dissolve parliament.

But First Deputy Speaker Adam Martynyuk said that if the president were to sign such a decree, the situation would become "even more lamentable than it is now," adding that there were no legal grounds for such a move.

The "orange coalition" - the ex-premier-led Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc, pro-presidential Our Ukraine Bloc and the Socialists - broke up over the election of Socialist leader Oleksandr Moroz as speaker of the Rada in breach of previous agreements within the coalition.

On Tuesday, Moroz said Ukraine had formed a new "anti-crisis" coalition comprising the pro-Russia Party of Regions, the Communist Party and the Socialist Party, which led to ugly scenes, as members of the 450-seat legislature started several fist fights, traded insults and attempted to drown each other out with sirens and megaphones.

Communist Part leader Petro Symonenko said Thursday that the party would reconsider its involvement in the new parliamentary coalition if the Our Ukraine Bloc were to be fully admitted to the coalition.

If this happens, "clearly, under the new conditions we will meet, discuss the issue and make the appropriate political decision," he said.

However, Communist Party members in the Rada are not against admitting individual representatives of Our Ukraine into the coalition, Symonenko said.
