MOSCOW, July 5 (RIA Novosti) - The U.S. space shuttle Discovery is scheduled to dock with the International Space Station July 6, a NASA representative at Russian Mission Control said Wednesday.
The source said shuttle commander Steven Lindsey would control the manned docking at 6.52 p.m. Moscow time (2.52 p.m. GMT).
He said astronauts would make two spacewalks July 8 and July 10, adding that a third spacewalk could take place July 12.
In this case, the shuttle will return to Earth July 17 instead of July 16, he said.
Tuesday's launch of Shuttle Discovery was the second manned U.S. mission following the Columbia crash in February 2003.
