MOSKOVSKY (Moscow Region), June 17 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Communist Party intends to cover all the country's settlements with its influence, the party's leader said Saturday.

Gennady Zyuganov said before the party's seventh plenary session KPRF was planning to discuss the consolidation of the party and cooperation with allies at its.

"Today KPRF is the only well-organized party offering a different policy," he said.

Zyuganov said 15 million people who had cast their votes in "people's referendum" organized by KPRF in late 2005 - early 2006 in all Russian regions were ready to cooperate with the party.

He also said KPRF would sent at least 4-5 observers to each of the 94,000 polling stations across Russia during the 2007 elections to the State Duma, Russia's lower chamber of parliament.

Zyuganov said his party was planning to hold a nationwide rally to support freedom of the press that would begin June 21 near Moscow's Ostankino TV center.

He said some 10,000 people were expected to take part in the rally, which had already been sanctioned by authorities.
