Georgian foreign minister meets EU, NATO ambassadors

TBILISI, June 16 (RIA Novosti) - Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili met Friday with the ambassadors of European Union member states, the United States, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey, the ministry said.

The officials discussed Georgia's integration with the EU and NATO, progress in efforts to resolve the conflict between Georgia and its breakaway region of South Ossetia and an international conference held in Brussels on June 14 to assist the economic revival of the conflict zone.

Bezhuashvili told the diplomats about talks between President Mikheil Saakashvili and Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg on June 13.
