MOSCOW, May 31 (RIA Novosti) - Russia is set to invest more in the economy of Slovenia, Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov said Wednesday.
Speaking after talks with his Slovenian opposite number, Janez Jansa, Fradkov said, "The Russian side is planning to increase investment in the Slovenian economy in line with Slovenia's plans to privatize companies in a number of major economic sectors where Russia could be involved."
The Russian premier said the current level of reciprocal investments was low and that the $100 million contribution of Slovenian companies was still far larger than that of their Russian counterparts.
