58 detained in Moscow after soccer cup final - police

MOSCOW, May 20 (RIA Novosti) - A total of 58 soccer fans were detained after a final match between Russian teams Spartak and CSKA, a spokesman for Moscow police said Saturday.

CSKA retained the Russian Cup Saturday with a 3-0 victory over its bitter Moscow rival Spartak, on goals by Brazilians Jo (2) and Wagner Love.

"Fifty-four people were detained in condition of intoxication... Another four were detained for minor offenses," Yevgeny Gildeyev said.

Some 50,000 fans attended the match in Moscow's southwestern Luzhniki stadium.

Earlier, at least 10 were reported injured in a clash between Spartak and CSKA fans after the game.
