MOSCOW, May 16 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Prosecutor General's office said Tuesday it had filed an appeal to extradite a former director of embattled oil company Yukos from Italy.
Former director for strategic planning and corporate finance, Alexei Golubovich, who had been put on the federal and international wanted list in late 2004, was detained in Pisa last week.
Prosecutors said Golubovich had been charged with fraud committed by an organized group and failure to comply with a court ruling.
