ElBaradei has sent his report to the UN Security Council and the board of governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The report is critical of Iran, which, ElBaradei said, has failed to halt its nuclear research in the 30 days given for the effort and continued to enrich uranium.

MOSCOW, April 28 (RIA Novosti) - The six negotiating nations on the Iranian nuclear program will base their further policy on Friday's report by IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei.

ElBaradei has sent his report to the UN Security Council and the board of governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The report is critical of Iran, which, ElBaradei said, has failed to halt its nuclear research in the 30 days given for the effort and continued to enrich uranium.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mikhail Kamynin said Russia, the U.S., China and EU3 - Britain, France and Germany - would discuss the Iran situation on May 3 in Paris.

"The situation will be considered in light of the report by the IAEA director general," Kamynin said.

Iran's resumed atomic program has aroused international fears that the Islamic Republic will obtain nuclear technologies and develop bomb-grade material using uranium enrichment. Iran says it needs the process to generate energy.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Iran would continue cooperation with the IAEA if its right to nuclear research is respected, but insisted the country would proceed with its uranium enrichment program.

The Russian mission in the IAEA said it was holding a meeting in Vienna at the time when ElBaradei was presenting his report in the UN Security Council.
