EU3, Russia, U.S., China to discuss IAEA report on Iran May 2

"The consultations will be held after the UN Security Council chairman demanded on March 29 a report from the IAEA director general to be provided by the end of this week," ministry spokesman Mikhail Kamynin said.

MOSCOW, April 26 (RIA Novosti) - Diplomats of the EU3, Russia, China and the United States will meet May 2 in Paris to discuss a report from the head of the UN's nuclear watchdog on Iran's controversial nuclear program, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.

Representatives of Russia, China, the U.S. and the three nations at the forefront of European Union's efforts to defuse the Iranian standoff - France, Britain and Germany - will confer over the report by Mohamed ElBaradei, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

"The consultations will be held after the UN Security Council chairman demanded on March 29 a report from the IAEA director general to be provided by the end of this week," ministry spokesman Mikhail Kamynin said.

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Kislyak will represent Russia.
