NASA chief Mike Griffin said his agency would continue purchasing Russia's space services to supply Soyuz spacecraft rides for US crewmembers to the International Space Station.

MISSION CONTROL (Korolyov, Moscow Region), April 9 (RIA Novosti) - The U.S. space agency NASA said Sunday it would continue purchasing space services from Russia to deliver its astronauts to the International Space Station.

NASA chief Mike Griffin said his agency would continue purchasing Russia's space services to supply Soyuz spacecraft rides for US crewmembers to the International Space Station.

Griffin declined to specify the sum, for which NASA intended to purchase space services from Russia, saying it was a commercial secret. He said the sum would be specified during the negotiations with the Russian space agency.

Griffin spoke immediately after the 12th crew of the International Space Station returned safely to Earth early Sunday.
