BEIJING, April 3 (RIA Novosti, Alexei Yefimov) - China and Turkmenistan have signed a general agreement on the construction of a pipeline and natural gas supplies, a source in the Turkmen delegation said Monday.
The agreement was signed by Turkmenistan's Ministry of Oil, Gas and Mineral Resources and China National Petroleum Corporation as part of Turkmen President Saparmurat Niyazov's visit to Beijing.
The details of the agreement have not been made public yet.
The sides also signed an agreement on combating terrorism, separatism and extremism.
