MOSCOW, April 2 (RIA Novosti) - The driver died and two cisterns with oil products caught fire when a freight train ran into an empty bus at a railroad crossing in central Russia, the Emergency Situations Ministry said Sunday.
"The accident took place at 9.18 Moscow time (5.18 a.m. GMT)," the ministry said. "An empty Ikarus bus drove onto the railroad tracks and a freight train with oil cisterns ran into it."
Three cisterns with oil products were derailed and two of them caught fire.
Traffic was stopped, and the fire is being extinguished.
