Government approves financial plan for 2006-2008

MOSCOW, March 24 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian government said Friday it had approved a financial plan for 2006-2008.

Under the plan, federal budget revenues in 2006 will be 5,046,140 million rubles (about $180 billion), in 2007, they will total 5,828,480 mln ($210 bln), while the figure is expected at 6,587,440 mln rubles ($240 bln) in 2008.

The federal budget's expenditures in 2006, 2007 and 2008 will be correspondingly 4,270,110 million rubles ($155 bln), 4,892,380 mln rubles ($175 bln) and 5,621,620 mln rubles ($200 bln).

Accordingly, the budget surplus for 2006, 2007 and 2008 will be 776,030 million rubles ($28 bln), 936,100 mln rubles ($34 bln) and 965,820 mln rubles ($35 bln).

The plan envisions the Stabilization Fund, established to harvest windfall oil revenues, totaling in early 2006, 2007 and 2008 correspondingly, 1,237,030 million rubles ($45 bln), 2,099,210 mln rubles ($75 bln) and 3,067,040 mln rubles ($110 bln).

Russia's state debt stands at 3,413,860 million rubles ($123 bln), 3,307,060 mln rubles ($120 bln) and 3,439,970 mln rubles ($125 bln) accordingly.
