MOSCOW, February 26 (RIA Novosti) - The Economic Development and Trade Ministry will decide on growing imports of large-diameter pipes to Russia, in particular, from Ukraine, within the next one or two weeks, a ministry official said Sunday.
"We will make a decision [on imports] in the near future [one-two weeks]," Galina Balandina said, adding that the issue was long overdue.
She said the term of a special probe into the growing pipe imports had expired, and the ministry was currently completing the analysis of the situation on the domestic market.
She did not specify which protective measures could be taken, if any.
